BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A woman who told detectives she fired a gun in self-defense, fatally wounding the man who stole her son’s bike, pleaded no contest Wednesday to voluntary manslaughter, according to court records.
Dolores Alatorre, 35, also pleaded no contest to making criminal threats and is scheduled to be sentenced June 17, records show. A murder charge was dismissed.
