ESSEX, MD—A driver is in police custody following a series of events that began with a traffic violation and included a collision with a marked police cruiser late Sunday night, authorities said.
According to Baltimore County police, an officer spotted a traffic violation in the area of Stemmers Run Road and Eastern Boulevard at approximately 10:30 p.m.
