BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A man found guilty of a drug-dealing conspiracy tied to two mass overdoses in Baltimore’s Penn North neighborhood has appealed his conviction.
Court records show Donte Drummond, 20, filed a notice of appeal Sunday and petitioned the court to modify, reduce or reconsider his 10-year prison sentence. No hearing on the filings had been scheduled as of Monday evening.
Prosecutors alleged Drummond supplied fentanyl and heroin to a “drug trafficking conspiracy” in West Baltimore. But neither he nor his co-defendants were accused of distributing the “bad batch” that caused 27 people to overdose in Penn North last summer…
