Hundreds of fans waited outside Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Friday night for a chance to get a free Orioles-themed Tupac Shakur bobblehead. Now, listings of the popular bobbleheads are taking over online marketplaces, with asking prices in the hundreds of dollars.
Many of the online marketplace listings show the bobblehead box with Camden Yards in the background or leaning against one of the stadium’s green seats. Prices for the bobblehead primarily range from $100 to $200, with some listings asking for as much as $1,000.
The free bobbleheads were distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 20,000 fans at Friday’s game against the Athletics in celebration of the life and legacy of Shakur, who was an influential rapper and artist.
