May 17 Sunday Morning Report
Here we go! The heat wave is about to begin as temps jump today. Most of the region will reach the upper 80s. Some may get to 90℉ if there is enough sun, while scattered thundershowers may develop mid afternoon in Central Virginia and track to Southern Maryland.
The first three days of the work week will reach the 90s with increasing humidity. This will reach a peak for us Tuesday, then collapse with a cold front on Wednesday producing strong to severe storms…
