The St. Gabriel City Council took a big step forward in its efforts to attain what has been the municipality’s “holy grail.”
Council members during their regular monthly meeting May 21 authorized Mayor Lionel Johnson to purchase land along La. 30 for the city’s first -ever supermarket.
