Baton Rouge man charged after driver left with ‘lower extremity disfigurement’ after crash

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO) responded to a two-vehicle crash around 5 a.m. on Friday, May 22.

Deputies determined that a head-on collision took place at the intersection of Bluebonnet Boulevard and Hillglen Drive.

The ensuing investigation led to the arrest of Arley Chen Tum, 26, of Baton Rouge.

Tum was charged with operating while impaired; first offense, first-degree vehicular negligent injuring, driver must be licensed, possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles, and reckless operation of a vehicle…
