A lawsuit filed last week in 18th Judicial Court seeks damages for the widow and daughter of a deputy who was slain eight months ago inside the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Carlye Bezet-Riley filed the suit against the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office individually and on behalf of her minor child, Ella Alyse Riley, and on behalf of Deputy Charles William Riley.
The defendants have 30 days to answer the suit once it has been filed…
