Jury selection began Monday in the 31st Judicial District Court in the case of a Lake Arthur couple accused of starving their adopted 12-year-old, whose death nearly four years ago led to second-degree murder charges.
Adam Duhon, 46, and Jennifer Duhon, 45, are charged in the death of Brogan Nash Duhon, who died in a Baton Rouge hospital in October 2022, just weeks before his 13th birthday.
The couple were arrested in February 2023 after an autopsy concluded Brogan died from complications of malnutrition and ruled the manner of death a homicide. A Jeff Davis Parish grand jury later indicted both on second-degree murder charges in April 2023…
