Art exhibition explores legacy of slavery in Louisiana

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Three local organizations are collaborating on a limited-run multi-site art exhibition in August.

Baton Rouge Gallery (BRG), Southern University, and the West Baton Rouge Museum will present “Free as They Want to Be: Artists Committed to Memory” from Aug. 1 to 23 at all three locations.
