BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – According to the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), the number of patients who have or are suffering from the ‘explosive diarrhea’ caused by the parasite continues to increase.
Based on the map, it appears East Baton Rouge Parish leads the case count with more than 20 cases.
Six people have been hospitalized with the illness.
