A Baton Rouge judge ruled Thursday against granting a bond for 24-year-old David Catherine, also known as the rapper RealBleeda, in his first-degree murder case in the 2024 drive-by shooting death of youth advocate Teressa Calligan.
Makenzy Roach testified on Catherine’s behalf Thursday, stating that the two of them were together on the evening of Sept. 15, 2024, when Calligan was fatally shot while stopped at a red light on Airline Highway.
