BAKER — A man accused of stabbing his father in January has a warrant out for his arrest after he cut off his ankle monitor and did not show up for a court hearing at the 19th JDC, court records say.
Jeremiah Gill, 22, was arrested on attempted first-degree murder charges for allegedly stabbing his father at a home in Baker on Jan. 16. His bond was set at $100,000.
On July 23, Gill’s defense team filed a motion to have his bond reduced. His defense said that because Gill had no prior history of criminal activity, as well as a history of psychiatric issues, he should be allowed to have a reduced bond.
