Ascension Parish native joins Baton Rouge General team

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — An Ascension Parish native has joined the team at the Baton Rouge General neighborhood hospital located in Prairieville.

Dr. Lexi Champagne will care for patients at the neighborhood hospital’s primary care clinic, Baton Rouge General said in a news release.

Champagne, who graduated from Dutchtown High School, earned her medical degree and master’s in public health from St. George University School of Medicine.
