BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Authorities said they’ve arrested a suspect after seizing about 125 lethal doses of fentanyl and other drugs during the execution of two search warrants.
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Marvin Batiste, 42, is facing multiple charges.
The investigation into Batiste started after officials with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said they were contacted by agents with the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office about a methamphetamine trafficker.
