Area cleared after bomb threat made near 2 Baton Rouge high schools

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Two Baton Rouge high schools were placed on lockdown Friday morning as law enforcement investigated a bomb threat reported at a nearby synagogue on Kleinert Avenue.

Baton Rouge police said the scene was cleared around 12:48 p.m. and there was no threat to the area.
