Walker man sentenced to 282 months in prison on drug distribution charges

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Walker man was sentenced to over 23 years after being convicted of drug distribution in Louisiana.

According to the United States Department of Justice, Richard Cline Jr., 35, was convicted in 2025 on charges of distribution of methamphetamine and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Evidence indicates that Cline sold a total of more than 50 grams of meth to an undercover cop two times in 2021. On March 9, 2021, Cline was arrested and had 50 grams of meth while attempting to conduct a third sale…
