A Denham Springs man was one of two men killed Friday afternoon in a head-on collision in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana State Police report.
Edgardo Reyes-Rivera, 23, of Denham Springs, and Jonathan Puente, 35, of Beaumont, Texas, died in the crash, according to a news release.
Reyes-Rivera was driving a 2022 Toyota Camry northbound on La. 27 and Puente was southbound in a 2014 BMW 550i, the release states. For unknown reasons, Reyes-Rivera crossed the median and collided head-on with Puente’s car around 3:30 p.m…
