The 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, which includes the parishes of Ascension, Assumption and St. James, reported guilty pleas during the week of May 11-15.
The information has been obtained through the office of 23rd Judicial District Attorney Ricky Babin.
Ascension Parish
1. Roberto Escobar, 10732 S Mall Dr. Baton Rouge, LA, age 42, pled guilty to Felony Issuing Worthless Checks and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 5 years supervised probation.
