Seattle Kosher, the only dedicated kosher grocery delivery service serving Washington state, is shutting down after more than 15 years, with ownership pointing to rising costs, taxes, vandalism, and a shrinking customer base as key reasons behind the decision.
In a letter to customers obtained by The Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI, owner Phillip Klitzner announced the company will phase out its home delivery operation over the next several weeks. The closure marks the end of a service that has supplied kosher food to Jewish families throughout the Pacific Northwest since 2010.
