Seattle Police Seek Tips After Teen Shot While Inside Vehicle

Detectives in Seattle are investigating after a teenage boy was shot near a boat ramp in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The Seattle Police Department said officers responded to a report of shots fired on the 9000 block of Seward Park Avenue South at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. They arrived to find “evidence of a shooting in the street” near the Atlantic City Boat Ramp.

While at the scene, officers were informed that King county Sheriff’s Office deputies had located a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the back on the 8500 block of 117th Street in the Skyway neighborhood. The teen told deputies he had been shot near Seward Park in Seattle…
