Mark your calendar for an evening of food, culture, and community at the annual UW Night Market, returning on May 23, 2026, from 4:30 to 10:00 PM at Red Square on the University of Washington campus in Seattle. Now celebrating its 26th year, this free event is one of the largest student-run gatherings at UW and is presented by the UW Taiwanese Student Association.
The UW Night Market brings together a mix of activities for everyone to enjoy. Expect a wide variety of food vendors, fun games, and raffle prizes throughout the evening. There will also be a lineup of cultural performances showcasing music, dance, and more, along with a crowd-favorite food eating contest that’s sure to draw cheers. Best of all, the event is completely free and open to the public.
Event amenities are set up with convenience in mind. There will be two portable restrooms available, including two ADA-accessible options. An information booth will be located next to Odegaard Library if you have questions or need assistance.
