Woman stabbed at south Seattle grocery store in stable condition

SEATTLE — A woman stabbed outside of a south Seattle grocery store was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries Friday night.

The Seattle Fire Department and Seattle Police Department officers responded to reports of a 37-year-old woman who was stabbed near her left shoulder just after 11 p.m. Friday outside of the QFC on Rainier Avenue S in Beacon Hill.

According to police, the victim was inside the store when she was approached by an unknown man. The woman said once she left the store, the man followed her and slashed her with a “butterfly style knife”…
