MIDFIELD, Ala. (WBRC) – Mayor Terry Adams and the Midfield City Council have announced their choice for chief of police.
Michael Jeffries was sworn-in as Midfield’s new chief of police during the city council meeting on Thursday, May 28.
Chief Jeffries was appointed to the role following the retirement of previous Police Chief Jesse Bell in February.
Jeffries has served 14 years with the Midfield Police Department in a variety of different roles. He also served in the Army National Guard for 6 years and deployed twice to Afghanistan…
