BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a man who was found in a creek in the Smithfield Community on May 25.
The man has been identified as 41-year-old Timothy Jesse Copeland. He was transient and from Detroit, Michigan.
Copeland’s body was found in the 300 block of 3rd Avenue North. He was at the base of a bridge pillar partially, submerged in water.
An autopsy found no evidence of foul play. A case of death is pending…
