MAX Transit has announced the return of Saturday service for its Downtown MAX On-Demand zone beginning Saturday, June 6. The Downtown zone will operate Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., expanding weekend mobility options for riders traveling throughout downtown Birmingham.
“Transportation needs do not stop at the end of the workweek,” said Charlotte Shaw, Executive Director/CEO of MAX Transit. “The return of the Saturday downtown MAX On-Demand service helps create greater access to jobs, shopping, appointments, entertainment, and other important weekend destinations for our riders.
