BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Central Alabama Pride has multiple events scheduled for the rest of June, including the Pride in the Magic City Parade and the 48th annual PrideFest.
The parade will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 8 p.m. The parade route will start at 30th St. S. and 7th Ave. S. and end at 22nd St. S. According to Central Alabama Pride, an official after party will be held at Saturn. It will feature “RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars” participants Morphine Love Dion and Vita VonTeese Starr. The after party is 18+, and tickets can be found here.
Free events coming to the Birmingham area in June
The following Sunday, Central Alabama Pride will host the 48th annual PrideFest at Linn Park. The event will feature food trucks, artisan vendors, a kid zone, a health fair, entertainment and more. The entertainment lineup can be found here. PrideFest will last from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. After the celebration, an after party will be held at Al’s on 7th.
