CALERA – The suspect who was arrested in connection to a vehicle chase that started in Chilton County and ended in Calera on the afternoon of Thursday, June 4 has been identified by the Calera Police Department.
Gavin Montreal Lee Woodson, age 31, was booked into the Shelby County Jail on the following charges on Sunday, June 7 for a total bond of $11,000:
- Attempt to commit a crime-Class B felony – $10,000
- Reckless endangerment – $1,000
According to an official release from the Calera Police Department, at approximately 12:45 p.m. on the afternoon on June 4, the Calera Police Department was notified of a high-speed pursuit that was underway in Chilton County. The chase was headed north on Interstate 65.
