BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A man has been arrested in connection to a 2024 Birmingham homicide investigation, police said Thursday.
According to Birmingham Police, 40-year-old Jimmy Hollis, of Birmingham, has been charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of 69-year-old Reginald Crenshaw in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue South Dec. 18, 2024.
Police said Hollis had previously been arrested in connection to a separate homicide in the 300 block of Iota Avenue in April. Authorities said as the investigation continued of the Iota Avenue homicide, detectives identified Hollis as a suspect in the 2024 homicide.
