JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – Jefferson County is working on several road projects designed to improve traffic flow, including a planned through road in Hoover and intersection work in Bessemer.
One project would create a new road to replace a cut-through that Hoover drivers currently use at the Ashley Home Store parking lot off Highway 150.
“Right now, people are leaving the Galleria area, the 459 exit round right there and they’re crossing into Ashley Furniture to go up through the parking lot and the back down to connect to Old Lorna Road,” said County Engineer, Chris Nicholson…
