Showers and thunderstorms are forecast across much of South Florida today, according to the National Weather Service, with the risk of flooding increasing on Thursday along the east coast metro areas.
An “unsettled weather pattern” will bring growing chances of thunderstorms and showers to the region, beginning on May 27, according to the NWS’s website. A marginal risk for flash flooding is expected across the east coast metro areas for May 28.
