Canyon County House Fire Kills Two and Sheriff Opens Death Investigation
Sunday was already a punishing day for fire crews in Canyon County and it got worse before it got better.
Two people were found dead after a house fire broke out on the 10000 block of Ridgeway Road near Middleton. The call came in at 6:33 a.m. on August 3. By the time crews arrived, they were already looking at an active residential fire, serious enough that the response was upgraded to a second alarm.
That means more units, more trucks, more hands, fast.
