According to a recent report from the Institute for Corruption Studies at Illinois State University, Idaho is deemed the most corrupt city in the United States. This ranking is based on the per capita number of public corruption convictions spanning from 1976 to 2023. Surprisingly, Idaho surpassed more populous urban centers such as Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C.
