More than pink: A century-old Boise home built on community

BOISE, Idaho — On the northside of downtown Boise, a bright pink home stands out among the historic houses of the North End.

The bold exterior of what is now known as The Pink Guest House may catch the attention of passersby, but inside, the experience is far more than its eye-catching color suggests.

Built in 1901, the English Tudor-style home is a piece of Boise’s early history, with steep gables, detailed woodwork and original architectural features still intact more than 120 years later.
