BOISE — Idaho’s director of student transportation is recognizing school bus drivers for their critical role in education as School Bus Driver Appreciation Day coincides with National Superhero Day.
Ali Hicks with the Idaho Department of Education said drivers are often the first and last point of contact for students each day, helping set the tone before they ever enter the classroom.
