Boise State Athletics receives major Okelberry family gift for North End Zone Project

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise State Athletics has received what it called a transformative gift from Ryan and Monica Okelberry to support the university’s North End Zone Project, an effort aimed at enhancing the student-athlete experience and creating a new community gathering space.

The Okelberrys are co-founders of House of Design Robotics, which was founded in 2012 and acquired in 2021. Boise State said their investment will go toward the North End Zone Project, which is designed to support Bronco student-athletes and provide an “inventive gathering place for the entire community.”

“On behalf of our 350+ student-athletes and staff, we are incredibly grateful to the Okelberry family for believing in What’s Next for Boise State,” said Jeramiah Dickey, Boise State director of athletics. “For Ryan and Monica to see the vision of the North End Zone and how it will impact all of our student-athletes as well as the entire Boise community speaks to their generosity and care for Boise State.
