We’re still over three months from the opening of the Western Idaho fair for 2026, but the excitement is growing as the Grandstand acts are being announced by the organizers. We already know who two of the performers will be and have our guess about the other three.
The Western Idaho Fair is also planning big changes for 2027, including extending the dates for the fair.
The Western Idaho Fair Just Announced 2 of the Grandstand Acts For 2026
The Western Idaho Fair will take place from August 21st through the 30th this year in Boise at Expo Idaho. Advanced tickets are on sale for admission, carnival rides, and the concerts, even though we don’t know who’s coming yet.
But that is changing over the next few days as the fair plans to announce the remaining three artists between now and May 15th. The first artist was announced last week as Brantley Gilbert.
The second artist was just announced this morning as Skillet.
Prior to announcing the artists, the fair posts a teaser on social media and has followers guess who they think the next announcement will be. It seems like they use an actual silhouette of the band, so today’s was pretty easy for fans of Skillet.
