BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Gusty northwest winds and cooler-than-normal temperatures are expected to dominate the weekend as another low-pressure system moves into the Pacific Northwest.
Saturday is forecast to be mostly cloudy, gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 62. Northwest winds are expected at 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph, though wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected out of the northwest across the entire area Saturday and continuing through the weekend.
Temperatures are expected to take a dive this weekend, running 10 to 15 degrees below normal. The system is also expected to bring gusty winds and a chance for mountain showers. Snow levels will briefly drop as low as 3,500 to 4,500 feet Sunday morning…
