A New Hampshire man was sentenced to prison in connection with a string of bank robberies in Massachusetts.
Reinaldo Ortiz, a 47-year-old resident of Manchester, N.H., was sentenced Thursday to 57 months in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Over a 16-day span in March 2022, Ortiz drove from New Hampshire to Massachusetts to rob banks in Fitchburg, Lowell, Chelmsford, Wilmington and Lexington. He entered the banks wearing a mask and demanded cash from the tellers; when they complied, Ortiz fled the scene, prosecutors said…
