It may have been a soft opening, but the first Asian market in MetroWest has already drawn plenty of fans.
T Market, located on the second floor of the Natick Mall in the former Wegmans space, opened early on Saturday, June 6. Within the first half-hour, more than a dozen customers were in line for fresh fish and lobster.
Near the lobster tanks, crews were preparing a range of goods, from pizza to sushi.
Although some shelves were empty, most were stocked with Asian staples such as dumplings, wontons, miso and pickled ginger. One customer said the selection was “amazing,” and that she would not have to travel to Quincy or Boston…
