A Boston man is accused of attacking an MBTA Transit Police officer who was preparing to transport him to court on another matter last week.
Fritznel Jean, 28, faces mayhem and assault charges.
According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Jean was arrested on April 9 on an outstanding warrant out of Quincy District Court. The next morning, as an MBTA transit officer opened his cell to transport him to court, Jean allegedly became combative.
