ARVADA, Colo. (KRDO) — A bear was caught on camera looking for a late night snack in some trash cans in Arvada.
The Arvada Police Department (APD) released video of a bear trying to open some trash cans and search for food. Luckily for the owners of the cans, they were tightly secured and the bear wasn’t able to get in.
APD says it’s another reminder as bears start to prepare for hibernation to keep any food sources safely locked in bear-resistant containers. Officials remind residents to leave pet food inside, and make sure to clean any grills after use…
