Suspected bombs found by Boulder County road

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — A shelter-in-place order was issued for a Boulder County neighborhood Sunday when suspected bombs were found near a road.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said in a release that dispatchers received a call just after 8 a.m. regarding a suspicious item found near Ponderosa Way in unincorporated Boulder County.

The release said the person who reported the suspicious item had found a metal case near the roadway and when they opened it, they saw what appeared to be multiple improvised explosive devices…
