A Sarasota man who highway patrol troopers said was driving at more than 140 miles an hour in a high-performance car was arrested just before midnight and taken to Sarasota County Jail on a charge connected with Florida’s super-speeder laws.
Isreal Jacob Acosta was taken to jail immediately after the 11:56 p.m. arrest on Friday.
