Dew points are holding in the 60s – That means low humidity will make it feel genuinely pleasant. Winds will start calm in the morning, then pick up slightly to west southwest in the afternoon, but nothing that will impact your plans. This is the day to get outside and enjoy what the Suncoast does best.
By Wednesday, more typical rain chances return to the Suncoast. Showers become more likely in the afternoon, and a thunderstorm or two is possible. Thursday and Friday both feature showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, especially in the afternoon. The easterly flow that develops will favor showers and storms developing inland in the afternoon, then pushing toward the west coast in the evening. Winds will pick up Thursday, with east southeast winds around 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 20 mph.
