SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Developers are meeting with Sarasota business owners to discuss plans to replace popular Fruitville Road bungalows with an apartment complex.
The colorful cottages currently house a number of small businesses, including a pancake house, a vegan shop, a jewelry store and a salon. Located at the intersection of Fruitville Road and Lynx Avenue, just across from the Sprouts Grocery Store, the future of the historic cottages is uncertain.
