SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Local area law enforcement gathered in Sarasota May 11 to honor 11 officers, deputies and troopers who died in the line of duty in 2025.
The Sarasota County Schools Police Department hosted the 2026 Sarasota County Law Enforcement Memorial at Bayside Church on Bee Ridge Road.
