Ex-NYPD sergeant in Bronx cooler death free on $300K bail: lawyer

NEW YORK (PIX11) —  The former NYPD sergeant sentenced in the deadly cooler case in the Bronx was released from prison Monday on $300,000 bail, according to his lawyer.

Former cop Erik Duran will be free after winning an appeal in the Appellate Division, officials said.
