This is N.J.’s answer to the ‘Rocky’ steps — a killer staircase with stunning views

If “Rocky” was being filmed today in Jersey City, maybe Sylvester Stallone would have sprinted up the 100 Steps.

The outdoor staircase in Hudson County linking the Heights neighborhood atop the Palisades to Hoboken down below is a convenient connector to a light-rail train station, restaurants, parks, shopping and the Hudson River waterfront.

It also offers a stair climbing workout with stellar views — similar to the setting of the iconic 1976 movie scene in which Rocky runs up the 72 steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art…
