BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Two attackers knocked a 65-year-old man to the ground and repeatedly kicked him in the face during a violent attempted robbery in Brooklyn last week, according to the NYPD.
The assault happened around 2:54 p.m. Friday, May 1, near the intersection of Cropsey Avenue and Bay 32nd Street, police said. Investigators say the victim was approached from behind by two unidentified individuals who reached into his pockets before forcing him to the ground.
The suspects then kicked the man in the face multiple times while attempting to steal his property, according to NYPD Crimestoppers. Police said the attackers ultimately failed to take anything and fled on foot.
